Walrus tasks. (pair). The walrus is a large flippered marine mammal with a discontinuous distribution about the North Pole in the Arctic Ocean and subarctic seas of the Northern Hemisphere. The walrus is the only living species in the family Odobenidae and genus Odobenus.

The pair of tusks is from the walrus skull. The tusks may serve as headrests, offensive or defensive weapons, and ice picks, hooking over ice to stabilize when sleeping, breaking breathing holes in the ice, and helping pull the animal out of water onto ice floes.
